Founded by Brooklyn locals, Whisk is a fun, neighborhood-style kitchen shop. The space is reminiscent of 1950s kitchens with retro staging and pops of robin’s egg blue throughout the store. The store offers classic favorites, like Le Creuset cookware and Kitchenaid mixers, alongside hard-to-find baking utensils and accessories.

Ceramics at Whisk NYCI popped into the second location near the Flatiron building the other day. Stumbling across Craft Your Own Bitters kits and Home Brew Kombucha kits, I wasn’t too surprised to find a butter churn nestled in amongst the other products. The store is welcoming and cozy, an ideal place to find gifts for the home cook and foodie.

Visit the original Brooklyn location in the heart of Williamsburg at 231 Bedford Ave.

Between his charisma, fascinating stories of the rich and famous, and delicious food, it’s easy to see why.

Truffle Butter

by Jojo Frey December 04, 2017

Truffle butter is a great way to preserve the aroma of truffles. Chefs recommend using truffle within five days or so. Aside from freezing it, making truffle butter is a good method to preserve the flavor. But, let’s be real… ain't no way truffle butter will last more than a few days in anyone’s fridge!!
