Butter churn with fresh butter

A couple of months ago, we stumbled across Reformation Acres, a beautiful, educational homesteading blog run by self-proclaimed "first generation homesteader", Quinn Veon. After spending a few hours reading her blog posts and watching some of her amazing tutorials, we knew she would be a great partner for Churncraft.

What Quinn thinks about her Churncraft butter churn:

"I know. It’s hard to believe butter could get better, but trust me, it can. So you can imagine how crazy stoked I was when Churncraft wanted to send me one of their stunningly gorgeous butter churns to try out in my own home dairy! Crazy stoked, I tell you.

Let’s talk about this bad boy some more…It is heavy duty! Which is great so it can’t easily be broken and doesn’t move around too much while you’re cranking. This churn is going to last! I found the churning to be… dare I say it?   Smooth as butter."

We're so excited to be partnering with Quinn to give away a free Churncraft butter churn to one of her lucky readers.

The giveaway is live until Saturday, October 28th, so if you're interested, get going!

For the third installment of our Chef Series, I am so excited to introduce the charming Marlon Alexander, a personal chef who has worked for some of the biggest names in show biz including Kiss, Rod Stewart and Christina Aguilera. I first met Marlon at a charity event, where a private dinner catered by him was auctioned off for a cool $14,000 (by the way, two of those dinners sold that night). Between his charisma, fascinating stories of the rich and famous, and delicious food, it’s easy to see why.

Truffle Butter
Truffle Butter

by Jojo Frey December 04, 2017

Truffle butter is a great way to preserve the aroma of truffles. Chefs recommend using truffle within five days or so. Aside from freezing it, making truffle butter is a good method to preserve the flavor. But, let’s be real… ain't no way truffle butter will last more than a few days in anyone’s fridge!!
